About Lumière and LumiVision

Lumière is an AI video editor by PG Info Kft. It is not Google's Lumiere research model. This page states what Lumière and LumiVision are, what ships today, what costs what and where your data lives.

What Lumière is

Lumière turns hours of raw footage into a story-ordered first cut. You write a brief, it drafts the cut on a timeline, and you review every edit. It transcribes, subtitles and checks the cut against your own guidelines. You stay the editor.

What LumiVision is

LumiVision is a library over your footage: a summary, chapters and a searchable transcript for each video, and a chat that answers from the video. LumiVision Press is the version for journalists. Upload a press conference, interview or broadcast and get a transcript, a summary, subtitles in 17 languages and exact quotes with times. It has its own site, lumivision.io.

Who it is for

  • Broadcasters and news agencies that need a first cut fast and a check against house rules.
  • Production companies and documentary makers with hours of interviews to search.
  • Creators with a regular show.
  • Event and corporate video teams.
  • Journalists who need transcripts and exact quotes: LumiVision Press.

What is live today

  • Produce. A written brief becomes a draft cut on the timeline. Search what was said across hours of footage. Edit by editing the words, on a timeline with a program monitor.
  • Toolkit. Transcription, speaker detection, subtitles, translation, dubbing, music with ducking, AI reframe, video insights, AI thumbnails, recorder audio sync and multicam sync.
  • Comply. Guidelines go in as PDF, DOCX, TXT or image scans. Lumière scans the transcript with a confidence score per flag, you review, and the compliant master is rendered and checked again. EBU R128 loudness QC measures LUFS, true peak and range. Reports come as PDF, DOCX or CSV.
  • Hand-off. Export to DaVinci Resolve and as EDL for any editor.
  • Teams. Seats with roles, project walls, comments pinned to the exact word or shot, and named approvals, on Studio and Broadcast.
  • Generative add-ons. Images, video shots, dubbing voices and music beds, each priced in lumens before you click.

What is coming

  • B-roll: own uploads, stock, AI-generated clips and sound effects. Coming soon.
  • Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro export. Coming.
  • Early access. Lumière Local keeps footage on your machine and only the transcript travels. Desktop only.
  • In development. Email digests for teams and 360° virtual-camera editing.

What Lumière does not do

Lumière measures loudness against EBU R128 and reports the result. It does not normalise your master, and it does not certify broadcast technical compliance. It does not check resolution or codec.
